Humbert Bovine 1998-2009
I just had to put my 11 year young cat Humbert to sleep. He had an incurable disease, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and this was the only option. I was there during the procedure and couldn't have done it without the presence of my roommate Cindy. (Thank you Cindy). It hasn't really hit me that he is gone yet... But I will miss him!!!

I am sorry to hear that you had to put Humbert to sleep. It is a hard decision, but, in perspective, it would be harder to watch a beloved animal companion and friend suffer. I understand when you say it has not hit you yet. It takes a bit of time. However, I am sure he was a well loved cat who enjoyed being with you. He will always live in your heart and you will always have all the wonderful memories of times spent together. Nonetheless, I am sending you a huge hug and much love.
Thanks for letting me know this morning. I was very sad about it as Hump-Hump was like my little boy too. Sure I didn't get to see him much of late but he'll always have a special place in my heart. Hope you're going to be ok- call me if you need to cry.
Here I am Rafi, here I am.
Thank you girls! I hope you like this picture I found that I just added to the post. Humbert liked napping in my laundry hamper. The shot was taken in the summer of 2006. Summer was his favorite season!
:-)
He looks gorgeous as always.
Hey, check THIS cat out!
